Snowboard boots?? Cheap and comfy!?!?

im buying a snowboard but now i need boots. i need size 10 mens snowboarding boots (yes im a girl but guys boots are more comfortable for some reason) i found some for $35 but i was thinking maybe even cheaper. i dont care if they r used as long as they r in good enough condition. nothing broken. its really hard to find them that cheap, but hey i found a new snowboard + bindings for $60! now thats pretty good. i mean its a little small but that doesnt make too much of a differece....does it?
and the cheap boot i found were actually pretty nice they were expensive but they had a huge sale

In snowboarding you really get what you pay for.

Unless you happened to stumble on some 90% off sale, that board and bindings are prolly a low end brand. Maybe a lamar, ltd or sims, something that you will see at a walmart or big 5, not any actual snowboarding stores. But thats not a big deal, you can get away with riding on cheap gear for your first season.

One thing however you should not cheap out on are the boots. they are the most important part of your setup. the only thing that should matter while getting boots is level of comfort. If they are not comfy, then you will have a terrible day, your feet will ache, you wont have control and you will fall a lot more and hurt yourself. It doesnt matter how crappy your board and bindings are. If you have comfy boots you can still progress, but bad boots will only make you miserable and hold you back.

I never give out boot recommendations since everyone's feet are uniquely shaped and whats comfy to one might not be to others.
Here is what I will advice on buying boots.
Never buy a pair without trying them on for atleast 10 mins in a store first.
Pick the 2 best pair that you find in the store and wear one on each foot and walk around to figure out which one is the best.
Before you take ur boots to the resort, wear them around the house for atleast a few hours at the same level of tightness that you would when you are riding. If you feel that they cut off circulation to certain areas then you can still return or exchange them.

Stay away from Boa lacing system boots. Vans and DC sells these. Iv used the ones with the clickers and they suck.
Traditional laces boots are good, but you cannot tighten calf and ankle area individually, which is a big thing for me.
My personal favs are any burton boots with the individual speedzone lacing system for the upper and lower zones. you can tighten your calf and ankle areas to individual levels which is what I love.
You can put them on in a few seconds compare to the traditional laces.
You can even call up burton right after you get your boots to get free replacement laces and watch the video online on how to change the laces. It takes about 5 mins to replace them if they break. (they will, but only after a lot of use. My laces snapped this weekend, but I have over a 100 days on my burton rulers and it tooke me about 15 mins to replace all the laces on both my boots in the parking lot, so no biggie)

So forget about cheap and get a comfy pair.
